I stand amid the roar 


Of a surf tormented shore

And hold within my hands

These grains of golden sand 


Deep into that darkness peering,
long I stood there, wondering, fearing,
Doubting dreaming dreams no mortal ever dreamed before

When I stood within the rain


With my ego soaked in Shame

I found my dreams were masked

Behind the brightness of a bomb blast


I marched into the hurt locker and put that %#@! out 

Take your mask off and run face on into the future
Face on into your future

Blow up your past

asato ma sadgamaya


tamaso ma jyotirgamaya

Run full force into your fears

you must destroy all heartache 

these haters can't hold you down

never give up on yourself

You'll never reach your dream if you don't chase it now
Keep your head above this black water 


because every temptation will pull you down

If you lose sight of your vision


and become blinded by egos

you will get lost in the darkness



It's not always the destination

it's about the journey to get there
Even heroes began as dreamers


Heroes never quit, but legends never die
