Probably shoulda dealt wit it, deflate with hot compresses

But MAN, it was 3 cm! (Bag it)


Washin' it, soakin' it, I'm about to need an ophthalmologist
Differentials: can't go wrong with Sarcoid, TB, syphillis

Maybe a pingueculum, I am stumpin' and thinkin' and
Studyin' second year and I'm so happy for Toronto Notes, mannn


Next day you're back in clinic, and you see a red eye,
Yeah for real, you recall, you know the approach to red eye (Thank you)
Eyelids, Adnexa, Conjunctiva

Sclera...the next is the cornea
Maybe it was an abrasion, maybe it was an ulcer
You used fluorescein dye, then you used the slit lamp

Hang on, hang on, you see a hypopyon
White cells poolin' at the bottom, aww naw
I could take a culture, send them off, C&S

The residents would be like "Aw, this clerk's the best"

Retinopathy, AMD, hypertensive emergency,
You take those BPs with their repeats, the two times, systolic 2 2 zer-O
Systemic disease, the eye is like a wind-Ow

You tell the staff and they come like prest-O
They be like, "Papilledema - that's Grade 4, right."
You're like, "Yo -- I just really hope she gets her sight huh."

Cotton wool spots, hemorrhagic flames, dots, blots
Labetalol IV'd her, her BP comin down lots (shieeettt)
I call that getting managed and saved (shieeeettt)

I call that makin' an impact in someone's sightttt
That's pretty dope
Getting better at your doctoring, climbing up that learning slope
