With snow in her hair, frost in her gaze As the last sun of the Summer faded out
And all the songs of isolation silenced

Eventually disappeared also the loneliness
That kept me company
Insecurity burnt from both ends

Slowly burnt me out Across the dark I waited for Winter to come
And I wished for her to take me away Autumn brought hope with its rains
Grey light for the darkest of times

Grief poured into large pools
Yellow leaves covered underneath Coldness wrapped around my neck
Sorrow, longing and yearning

Stayed hidden until the frost
Madness took all the air from my lungs
Death grabbed my left arm

And carried me through the misty days Across the dark I waited for Winter to come
With snow in her hair, frost in her eyes
And I wished that she would take me with her

To where only she can banish the darkness
