Life in New Zealand is pleasant enough
When we turn 22 it's not violent enough
We want fast pace and fast trains and much bigger clubs

We want money and kudos and much stronger drugs

We skimp, we save, we go overseas

We pimp, we slave, so we get what we need
When we get there, we try very hard to believe

We still doing the same things but not with much space

On the subways and airplanes, there's no friendly faces
We're working so hard that the history is wasted
