POETRY lyrics : "Lullaby"

VERSE ONE: [the angel venting the signs of destruction to the Dr.]
"Dear Doctor, tell me what's wrong with me.
Tell me why they can't get along with me.

What do I mean?! I mean the voices I hear in my dreams;
laughter and screams.
Something isn't right, please intervene.

I feel like a fiend for a devilish scheme.
When everything's going right, I think conscious.
I smile more, laugh more, talk honest.

But when I got to deal with nonsense,
honest I lose sanity - Dear Doc, promise
I got a loose screw - I walk by myself.

I laugh out loud when I talk to myself.
The devil always wants to talk out of anger
because the angel never talks to a stranger.

Heart starts ticking, eyes start twitching.
The bad guy learned to play his position."

CHORUS: [The thoughts and words of the Dr. which are meant to envoke serenity and ease are verbally used against him/her when the devil shows itself from within the patient]
"Hush little baby, don't you cry.

Let me sing you a Lullaby.
You're safe with me, don't be shy.
Let me sing you a Lullaby.

Don't be scared, I'm by your side.
Let me sing you a Lullaby.
Rest your head, now close your eyes,

Breathe easy..."
