The sky is stormy I may never make it home
The rain is pouring there are so many miles to go
The wind is whipping all the helpless trees about

Inside my programmed mind I'm stuck
There's no way out


So many times I feel like I have shut the door
I've made attempts
I've tried and tried and tried some more

It's like a fence
That you can climb 'till your arms are sore
No matter what

You always fall back to the floor

Sometimes I wish this hurricane would stop while I'm within it

There's not enough time in this life to waste a single minute

Maybe the sun will break through

Hopefully
I've got a lot of walking to do
