I'm a dog and I've got it made
It's my job to sleep in the shade
When my owner wants to play

I just play along I need a place to stay

They feed me and treat me well

But I wonder if they can tell
Sometimes they nearly make me sick
I mean did you really think I was gonna chase that stick

I may not be smart but I'm not stupid


Is it worth it what you put me through
Does my dignity suffer when I beg for food
