she wakes up- heads for tha make up- erasin all trace of the face that she usta know/ they all hate when she say stuff- now her mouth stay shut- she learned early: hear tha rooster crow/ from tha front of tha class, to tha back row/ hassled in tha past, now she last to the blackboard- please fast forward/ this life that i'm livin, get it over with fast, floor it/ but theres more to it forcing me to forge through it/ course it hurts everyday gets worse/ nurse, heal this pain- rain rain go away- and never come again/ she'll never be the same- way far gone, all alone in this cold world so far away from home/ that's what she usta call it but that's all in tha past, back when they usta laugh and all that she didn't have/ but what she didn't have made her who she is today - the pain fuels the flame within hope there's a better way...before its too late



i hate today but it wasn't as bad as yesterday- yeah they still jumped me - but my lunch money was stashed away/
moms said you gotta count ya blessings - lord knows i dnt have many, that's why nights are usually restless/ tossing and turning a deep burning inside/ yearning to find something else besides what was given/ this life wasn't even my choice and is it worth living?/
every time i smile now i feel like i'm fibbing- im trippin- gotta getta grip/

on the situation at hand 'for i loose all control/ front row SEAT -in a car goin off the road/ time goes awfully slow when ya doin the impossible but that's mostly when you watch the clock though- so/ he turns his head just like the others always have/ when they were laughing behind his back and crackin jokes about his dad/ and about the life he had and about the things he wish he never woulda done !@#$ it how did it get this bad?!





according to them Drew is too fat, Susie is too skinny and her chest is too flat/ Johnny's dumber than box of rocks wont amount to nothin, alone wit his drunken mom cuz he lost his pops/ Tiff is that weird chick, i think she slits her wrists/ Amanda's gotta baby, she must be easy to get wit/ Joey sucks at sports, he must be into guys/ Jamal is too black and Nina got them slanted eyes/ so they gon' judge you, feelin like they stand above you but if it were true then they could never touch you/ and yet they do.

so just remember that and the fact that you touch them too- thats why they act fools/
they discriminate against what they don't understand gotta realize that and never let ignorance gain the upper hand/
stand together- stay strong through any weather/ stay tuff through rough times and plan for better/
