Something that no one can see

And upside down my senses seem
Twisted by the poison steam
Ever present in this land

And I had never realized

When I stood there paralyzed
That there were hiding far afield
The tainted shades from view concealed


For there I lost my consciousness
And drowned in blackened endlessness


Hence it's still inside of me
Something that no one can see

And I am still aware of it,

And step by step it kills my soul

What lasts is just an empty shell
