I've tried hard to win in this game/ and I ran far looking for the fame/ just to put it in my pocket/ where I could keep it close/ just to put it in my pocket/ for sometime down the road/ First place felt nice and victory was sweet/ when girls and boys would ask to be friends with me/ so I put 'em in my pocket/ to know that people cared for me/ so I put 'em in my pocket/ but it was really hard for me to see that .
