I remember when we were kids and all the crazy things that we did
Never had a car in the World ,
Kissing girls and pretending we were cool

Holding hands with your Girl in the park ,
Hugs and kisses after dark,
The innocence we had and the the devil may care

imaginations running riot ,
Dont think their folks are going to sleep tonight,
Christmas Eve is the night that all kids seek.

Pirates, cowboys, maybe soldiers today ,
I remember being King for a day ,
My friends were soldiers and they all looked up to me


But the memories are gone,
friends I had are either married or gone

another generation living out the dreams we'd dream
But I guess thats the way life goes
New kids grow up and the the young get old

memories of when we were kids

kicking cans down a dusty street,

making friends with other kids we d meet
Playing games untill theday turned into night

I was always breaking the rules
Being tough instead of clever was the path for me
