Heresy is rampant around us, it's astounding if you ain't really sure about it
False teachers and heretics were there when the message first spread
And over the years they've bred, more false views

This is really old news, it boils down to, souls being misled
And dying without repenting, heart-wrenching, because many are deceived because of man's greed
The house of prayer became a den of thieves

Work out your own salvation and stay prayerful on your knees
Pursue God, flee sin, avoid it's snare, be aware and beware of false beliefs that leave your spirit in need
I ain't trying to be rude, just contending for the faith like it says in the book of Jude

If His grace hasn't found you, don't be singing majesty
Delirious to His works, what calamity and tragedy
Only His Spirit and Word shape our character

The double-edged sword doing away myths, no Excalibur
Persevere in trial, live in self-denial, if you living in the moment you know nothing of the atonement
Seek Him for yourself, study His Word, discover the person of Christ in every verse

Be zealous in works and spiritually fervent
Because the Word commands us to be as wise as serpents
Ignorance is bliss, I feel to take a leap of faith, call it risk, walk into the lion's den and face the abyss
