Well, one fine day a sailor was just sitting on the dock
and a colossal squid was resting on top of some rocks.
The two exchanged a glance and then both realized their chance

to tell each other stories in the hopes of killing time.

The sailor spoke of when he chose to run away from home

and made a poor decision of living by himself, alone.
He said if he could take it back, without thinking twice, he would
but didn't know of any way that on one day he could.


The squid then talked about the day that he was newly born
and how he'd fear a death of being dragged up on the shore.

He said he felt unwanted because of his massive size
and often laid upon the rocks when he wanted to hid.


The lonesome squid and sailor then both quickly bid adieu
and as they went away, they both began to view their lives a new.
Although you may feel sad inside with a wall against your back,

you'll always find souls like you who will help you out along the tracks.
