I'm getting older and my bodies getting just a bit bigger now
Same Colgate but my teeth don't seem to shine the same
When my friends say I stink all it does is just tear me down

That I should have took a shower and combed my hair
Should have used a bit more detergent on my underwear

Getting myself some extra strength deodorant because I get sweaty when I start to dance
Now I know about hygiene
And I'm feeling like a new woman.


Got Tide, and EOS bath soap and a big ol' sponge
Gold bond in my shoes smelling good every time I lunge

Now I never, I'll never forget what hygiene has done
Cause my stench would haunt me when I'd sniff myself
But now I smell like mhm, mhm, mhm

People ask me "girl, what's that spray you have on?"

I actually took a shower and washed my hands

Threw away old tissues in designated trash cans
Made sure not to cover my mouth using my hands
Spreading all my germs? I'd rather not take the chance


I lathered; I rinsed and repeated for so long
I know that my teeth look great

Cause I purchased extra whitening Colgate
And I swabbed my ears


I started taking showers and trimming my nails
Washing all my clothes, so they're clean to wear
I can go to the party's and I'm not sweaty when I start to dance

Now that I know about hygiene, I'm a new woman
Let's give it up for hygiene, so fresh and so clean.
