Train arrives, I step out
This is it, without a doubt
This is the place where I'll be staying for a while


Head into town, I don't know a soul
The weather's nice, go for a stroll

And then a bright pink mare steps up to me with a smile

She says

my name is Pinkie Pie, and I just can't ignore
that you must be new here, cause I know everypony and they know me


So welcome, welcome to Ponyville
We love new faces, it's such a thrill,

And there's a party tonight at 7 so do come if you're free!

Clock chimes 7, I get dressed

Head out the door, and oh am I impressed
The town square's full of ponies, from far and wide


There's lots of games and plenty of food
I try to blend in and to not seem rude
Then I notice the mare from earlier is by my side


She says Oh lookie there, it's not even eight!
The party is rocking, and the food is great

we hope that you're having fun, cause there's something we wanted to say

Welcome, welcome to Ponyville

We love new faces, it's such a thrill,
we're so glad that you could make it here tonight
