We are but broken vessels that have been hollowed out,
By a world which has taken our hearts from our chest
And used them to craft empires

Every fiber sewn together like a collage,
Only when we pull back can we see the formation of continents.


The world itself will know my step each time I walk,
Somehow it understands who I am inside
Speaking back through the echoes of each resounding step,

I am left to wander this wasteland without a name.

The burden we carry is growing its way through

Igniting the dreams beyond our fingertips
Yearning for a new land beyond this wake of destruction
The purities cleansed and desolation walking


We burn everything we've come to own
And I can't believe anymore.

This ground that we walk on is so insecure.

I refuse to be a part of this,

When they reach for my hand and asked to be saved
I will softly reply, "No."
