Between my fingers is empty air
It matters to others
I usually don't care

If I should ever wonder, somebody was there

How hurt they would be if it occurred to them

That as for my feelings of adoration
I was trying to condemn
And this mind of mine was wasting words in meaningless poems


I say to that caring space,
That keeps emotions inclosed in heart,

Although I seem to stray from you,
We are only ever a finger's width apart
