Well I don't know what I'll do today
But I think I'll wake up and walk outside if that's okay
I might go hug a tree, or get stung by a bee

But I can always get up off my knees

I might get my heart broken today

So I'll get up and play a song if that's okay
The tree I hug may be an evil one and the bee that stings may a be a feeble one but I think I'll take that first step anyway


I might see fifty foreign flags today
Maybe none will flip and fly hello but I still feel that I've got to go, alright


And my song might end short I don't know
I think I'll feel free and go with the flow


The sun shines for us all every day
Not for you or me or the monkey or the tree it shares all it can with 360 degrees


Even Stalin had the sun
Accompanied by some guns
And he killed and thrilled with it's aid

But this is a song about our lives
We need to live and breath and swell with love
Hey look there goes a dove I think I'll follow her


And I might fall in love no-one's sure
And she just might be a beautiful Irish bird

She'll tweet and twitter until I want more then flap her feathers 'till my eyes are sore, alright

And if I close my eyes for just one day will she flutter and fly away, to another Island across the sea, to the towns of the Scotts and the Brits and the Welsh.

But I'm a turtle, I only fly in the sea, across the channel what a swim I think I'll dive in
