DURK STEED lyrics : "Tattoo Regret"

I've got regrets all over me.
Tattooed on my arms and places you shouldn't see.
Let me share with you my history.

Because the last thing the world needs is another fool like me.

It all started with Amy. I was young and fell in love so easily. Tattooed her name on my arm for the whole world to see. Then she broke up, she dumped me. But she taught me a lesson deep within my skin. No more tattooes ever again.

Until I met Sue. Sue won't you marry me. Onm y arm I;ve already tattooed my fidelity. Just below Amy because you mean so much to me. Sue you're my only one, my true destiny. But Sue she danced to a different drum. Said she could never be committed just to one. She needed to spread her wings and have some fun. But she taught me a lesson deep within my skin. No more tattooes ever again.

Till I met Kim. Kim she's the kind of girl who makes a man want to run off to the tattoo store and pledge his love forever more. When I kissed Kim I k new she was the girl I adored. But Kim said she wanted to just be friends. And I was smart enough to know it was the end. So my h eart throbbed for her loverly friend. She taught me a lesson deep within my skin. No more tattooes ever again.

Now Kim's friends Jill was a sight to see. And Kim and Jill were hooked at the hip until Kim caught me kissing her friend behind her pantry. Kim rolled up my sleeve and saw her best friend's name tattooed on me. As for Jill tears were rolling down her chin because I had to tattoo her name right under her best friend Kim. Two slaps right across my face told me it was definitely the end. but they taught me a lesson deep within my skin. No more tattooes ever again.

Until I met Roxene, Roxene she'd cause a man's heart to scream as she sped by on her Harley machine. She ran out of gas in front of the tattoo store. Gave us a chance to pledge our love forever more. She tattooed my name right under Bruce, Bob, and Jim. And I tattooed her name right under Amy, Sue, Jill, and Kim. We're the happiest love birds that ever have been. 'Cause we've learned that love goes deep within our skin, no matter how long the journey has been.
