Intro
Yeah. You can't always control the things that occur in your life. But sometimes, life is about perception. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and the key to being happy sometimes is finding the good, even in the bad.

Life ain't fun and games - we experience a lot of things,
That will make us all acknowledge pain.

It takes a toll on the modest brain,
Bringing a lot of strain -- and it is the reason people have gone insane.
It took me years to realize,

When things are depressin', that they're actually lessons meant to strengthen your mind.
And sometimes, you can actually find,
A blessing in disguise, behind misfortune, sent from the divine.

It's a yin-yang concept.
Wherever light exists, there is darkness.
But some people think that they're disjoint,

When in fact, the good and bad are simply just two halves of the same COIN.
But instead of looking aHEAD,
We simply focus on the negative living life will enTAIL.

With our heads filled up by the dread,
All the depression sets in like bad weather to bring hell/hail.
Believe me -- I have been through many dark moments.

How many times you think I've had my heart broken?
How many times do you think I've had loved ones die,
In my life, with many things left unspoken?

But I got the will of a fighter.
What doesn't kill me will simply make me stronger and wiser.
Romances end so better ones can begin,

And when loved ones die, they'll stop sufferin'.
Being positive is everyone's prerogative.
We gotta live and not let the negative things be dominant,

Perceiving our burdens to not be that heavy,
Seeing the cup as half-full instead of seeing it half-empty.
We can't control the negative events in our lives,

But we shouldn't have to think with a decadent mind.
We were born to choose,
So whenever life handed me lemons, I decided to make orange juice.
