Then, in effect, we all are one

Why live in fear, why divide
Lest another overcomes this world(?)
In a word lies a chance to make peace be all known

This word should mean everything to all of the earth

Pledging allegiance with hands over hearts

We still confide in the loar
Chanting with pride, while, in fact
The written words are rarely sworn; of that, I'm sure

So many look away from those with backs against the wall
What's happening to liberty and justice for all(?)
Justice for all...

Indivisible; we defy the term
Universal principles we deny after birth
As we separate certain kinds of people from all of the others

Specify races, one against another
Swear by a book; proclaiming holy regions
Denounce religions that embrace a different vision

Creeds influence malicious 'elan
I'll rescue me with what I feel from what I've heard
I understand what it means to be the salt of the earth... salt of the earth

Indivisible; I cry the word
I feel invisible, like no one wants the tables to turn
Still teaching children to separate people; discriminate colors

Specify races, one against the other
Spit on the meek from the might, the dark from the light
And cause havoc placing judgement on everything in sight

Alas, we still don't get along; we just don't get along
Ye of little faith can't get along; we just won't get along
