A young man lying in the mud
Beaten up blood all over his face
I can't believe that this only happened

Because of his different race
Increasing suicide and murder rates
In a world full of ignorance intulerance and hate


There's no need to go far away
If you want to see something cruel today

And I wonder if it's maybe too easy for me just to say

Nice little statement some people will mock me

It's a good thing that you're not naive
Are you blind or tell me why don't you see
