Just an IB student,

Doing a design lab.
They were inquiring about
enzyme activity.

Different temperatures,
pH, and substrate concentration,
Competitive and noncompetitive

inhibition.

Important for metabolism

And homeostatic control
For example strychnine inhibits
Glycine receptors in nerves


That's a cause of siezures
Because it blocks the inhibitory neurostransmitter

This knowledge will help us pursue biology degrees
The learning goes on and on and on and on

Reforestation is what we all need
It makes the soil better for use
And reduces CO2 pollutes


Environmental problems
Can cause health issues like asthma

So we need earth to be sustainable
So we can live on and on and on and on

On stem cells and the science behind them
Through class discussions, we saw different viewpoints
The pros, the cons, they depend on personal choice





We learned that bone marrow transplants
Can help people with certain cancers
Stem cells also help people with diabetes

So many possibilities
