I tried to have God and my pride but bottom line they didn't mix/ I just filled myself until I ended up with emptiness/ I'd try on an identity and wear it awhile if it fits/ But I'm named after an apostle so why would I wanna be Liquid Six?/ Lord, I just don't wanna be one of the hypocrites/ Religious views says "Christian" but their heart isn't regenerate/ Now that I know YOU and I see your significance/ If I didn't live for You, then I would be an idiot/If I turn back now, I might as well/ Just cower and toss in the towel/ Just make myself a golden cow/ marvel then get down and bow/ It's time for me to follow through, I have made a vow/ cause Jesus payed for all my sins, and I remember how/ He was treated like a dog/ He was mocked, He was flogged/ He was nailed to two logs/ He received the wrath of God/ And I don't know how that thought ever slips out of my consciousness/ For something meaningless as my projects and my accomplishments/

Father in Heaven, how I need you so

I just want my life to be meaningful
If I could add your essence to the things I know
Then I could starve my selfishness and feed my soul


Im thankful for the stages and Im thankful for the mics/
But I wanna use those things to say Im thankful for The Christ/ and if I hafta give those things up, it wont be a sacrifice/ cuz its really not a choice, when I compare the price/ Gods kingdom is free, the rap game could cost my life/ And I know I hafta die, but I dont wanna die twice/ I dont believe what they about you in Zeitgheist/ but I can still be hypnotized by all the flashing lights/ So I stand before you once again/ Full of guilt, absorbed with sin/ Asking for Your Spirit, open my heart then just pour Him in/ I dont need to conform for men/ cuz I dont get my reward from them/ So Ill go where you send me, for the moment Im recording hymns/ But I know this world is like the darkest starless night/ and theres people falling into pits, cuz we dont shine The Light/ plus people starve to death while we hide the Bread of Life/ and I dont know about you but to me that dont seem right/


You gave me ears to hear and you gave me eyes to see/ But still sometimes I listen to the world and look at the/ pleasures of the flesh and long for fruit plucked off that tree/ God, I can't believe you haven't given up on me/ You gave me a mind to comprehend what I'm supposed to be/ Still my thoughts can be influenced by the enemy/ Chained to my iniquity/ Messiah held the key/ In His name is liberty/ Christ has set me free/ That might sound foreign to you/ or that might sound boring to you/ There might be something in your heart still there that's distorting your view/ You might die and not receive this Good News I'm reporting to you/ But I promise in this life, there is nothing more important to you/ Once you're dead there's no more chances/ That's the way I understand it/ So I pray that you believe while you're still breathing on this planet/ There's just one way, I must be candid/ Grace through faith in Christ, The Lamb and/ if you really love Him then you will adhere to His commandments/


So if you've ever had a tiny inkling in your heart its true/
But it still seems illogical/ Here's what you should do/
Pray to your Creator and just ask Him for His help/

Only He can give you clarity on anything you've felt/
Ask Him if you can get to Him through anybody else/
Ask Him if all He wants is you believing in your self/

Then trust in Him and listen patiently for His reply/
That's the only way I came to believe in this guy/
