I once had a girl or should I say she once had me.

We went to her room, wasn't it good, Norwegian wood?
She told me to come in, asked me to sit anywhere.
I looked all around, up and down, but there wasn't a chair.


I sat on her rug, biding my time drinking her wine.
We talked until two and then she said, "It's time for bed."

She told me she worked in the morning and I started to laugh.
I told that her I didn't, and lurched off to sleep in the bath.


And when I awoke I was alone, this bird 1 had flown.
So, I burned her room 2 , wasn't it good Norwegian wood?
