A SOUTH BRONX TALE lyrics : "Indiegogo Rap"

Intro:

Wuttup World Wide Web?
This is A-B-E also known as
Abe The ProFiT of The Peace Poets

Quick Question for ya...

Chorus

Can I kick it? Yes ya can!
Can I kick it? Yes ya can!
Can I kick it? Yes ya can!

Well I'm gone

This (is) a South Bronx Tale minus Dinero

I done it for the Love not just for Dinero
Its been 5 years working with my peers
Teaching self expression despite public speaking fears

Cuz its healing to the MC and to receiving ears
Specially that vulnerable that got us shedding tears

When it if feel like no one here, hears or understands
Know we got each other back, Ain't ever understaffed

Cuz Hip Hop is the People and the People are my Church
This spiritual connection make it worth sharing my words
Cuz there's something, something, something so important

Potent to let you know the real me flowing

Going through hard times and the heart aches

The beauty in the uglies of all my mistakes
The greatest gift I can give is the honesty I lived
And my Dream has always been To tour my truth on stages

And speak my story unadulterated
In hopes you relating through my art

So the question now is where do we start
The goals is 15g's A simple breakdown reads:

3 Thou for trademark and for copyright,
Royalty registration, throwing up a website,
$250 per beat standard price in the music industry,

Plus I need about 1g to press 1000 CD's,

Gotta pay my engineer to mix and master the LP,

A couple thou to book venues with speaker systems that continue,
to move the rhythm in you, grooving single or mingled,
Flyers and Posters, Promotions in stores,

For my New York City, A-B-E Tour,
Just some projections of my expenses,

I unpretentiously ask you to help me,
Dream with eyes open in Two Zero-13,

Chorus
Can I kick it? Yes ya can!!
Can I kick it? Yes ya can!!

Can I kick it? Yes ya can!!
Well I'm gone!

Reflect on 5 years taught Hip Hop to youth,
How to come correct in that recording booth,
From NYC to Dirty Jersey,

Got California Love (O-TOWN) through my West Coast journey,

And deep respect from Massachusetts to Texas,

B Boy in Cambodia, Tiny Toones get reckless,
Afro-German foot-work's Capoeira recognized,
In Spain, Hip Hop and Occupy organized!

Now If you ain't gone, go-- Cuz it ain't a lie!
that Hands down, Cuba keep Hip Hop Culture Alive,

Now, if you grace me financially,
I could give more of my story substantially,

Donate handsomely and I'll spit for your family,
For your students, The entire faculty,
Serenade your partner Fire Escape or balcony,
A dollar or a thousand I'll accept thankfully,

Chorus
If you could give it, Support the Jam
If you could give it, Support the Jam
If you could give it, Support the Jam
And we gone!!!
