Deep in the woods behind my house
Live a dog named cat and a dog named mouse
A Rottweiler and a Shiba Inu

They adventure together in the forest blue

One dark night a thunderstorm struck

They cuddled up tight and hid in a log
The next morning they came across a smoking stump
They listened and they heard a thump thump thump


The stump had a hole and they crawled right through
Down they walked straight down into

A very large cavern lit with bright bright flames
A booming voice called out their names


Cat and Mouse you are the best of friends
This is the dungeon where all good things end
If you can find the key and defeat the boss

Your lives will be spare and your friendship will last

Just then a cage fell down with a bang

Cat and Mouse were trapped in the thing
Mouse wagged his tail and Cat gave a bark
Together this created a tiny spark


The spark lit up into a big big flame
It melted the cage and they were free again

They ran through a door into pitch black
The door closed right behind their back


In the dark they could smell a juicy steak
They went straight for it but then it dissipate d
They searched with their noses and they could not see

They growled at each other cause they were so hungry

Some time passed and they were full of fear

That's when Mouse had an idea
He barked once twice and then three times
Suddenly they were bathed in a soft glowing light


A creature like a hippo crossed with a giraffe
Stood before them and began to laugh

"Very good Mouse I am duly impressed
The three bark trick was the final test


Now you must defeat me for I am the boss
I guard this bridge and I won't let you cross
Cat looked at Mouse and Mouse looked at Cat

They defeated that boss in 3 seconds flat

They crossed the bridge and back out the stump

They landed on the forest floor with a thump
They howled at the moon and jumped with delight
They had faced the worst and had survived
