I'm ending up a prayer, we're going through these troubled times,
Yet again, act of terror plague children's minds,
Their kind hearts bring us peace due to God's design,

Gifts of love created, when souls are intertwined,

Behind the blinds cowards plotting on the World's demise,

Destruction and death, all for control and wealth,
No more love for others, only love for self,
The devil's poison, time to put that on the shelf,


What about hopes and dreams, replaced by the smoke and screams?
Demonic schemes accompanied by guns with laser beams

No promises we stay, since all from earth return,
The lessons taught here, we all one day will learn,


I loved the world over, in search for teachers true,
Thorns that crowd life's lane, I'll help you make it through,
Now give them all your love, nor think in labor vain,

Nor hate Him when he comes to take them home again

Shelter them with tenderness, love them while we may,

And for the happiness we've known forever grateful stay,
But should the angels call for them much sooner than we planned,
Brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand
