lets take a quick little minute
just to reminisce abit
cause now we're just wishin that the days would just repeat

in the time where we had our funnest memories
with our friends in the beach takin pics without our families
lookin at time that's movin by so fast

now the ones we called best is livin in the past
came in to a final rest and wished it could've last
since our pyramid of friends just turned into dust

now all that we have is a book of memories just layin on the floor
and im standin at the door
thinking bout the past that i wasn't really sure

so i told to myself that it won't be like before
lookin back to the past that helped me learn more
to the past where the piece of me was left all torn

by the people that i trusted and the once that i loved
still left me wondering if i did somethin bad
buzzing round my head what i did to make you leave and mad

used to say to you that;youre the best(friend) i ever had
and ever since the day
that we went our separate way

always have this urge to talk to you but dont know what to say
sittin here makin rhymes and im hopin that you'll be okay
cause ever since you left i just went rock bottom

fully outta focus and cant get you out my mind
lookin for another chance so we can just rewind
missin every single minute cause you were so kind

and i thank you for that for i know wont find
anybody else that's close
to your kindness and suppose

one day we'll be together givin each other some toast
rather than lookin away like we've seen a floatin ghost
but we were once the best

and i hope to see the rest
of the good things that the lord has made for us
but i gotta find the missing gap for us to continue

our quest to pursuit both of our happiness
well for now we gotta go through all this test
then hopefully we'll find our way back to each other
