The Earthworm lives inside the ground
He never brings his friends around
He travels miles from to and fro

But where is he going?
Why, he don't know
He's got no face that I can see

He's got no personality
He's got no eyes and no relief
He don't get tired so he can't sleep

The Earthworm, is a friend to fish
They call him close to where they wish

And when he's close enough to catch
Our friend becomes a fine gourmet dish

They like to keep him in an old tin can
Put him on a hook to catch some trout
He's got so many friends

They might wipe him out!
