A room set out over half a mile, and the floor shines like pearls.
The suits move like waves in flow, only except for hers.
She looks up to an awaiting hand, and pauses in haste.

Takes a lead to the shore and falls to waste.
Everything dry and a tear in an eye, dust from their mouths and blood from a stone.

I've found a place we can go, it's in my mind, and the rest is lost; to find.
This isn't another love song, this is my dedication to you in a poem, I'd like to get through:
That we can make it alright, understand, that we're fine.

And always will be, you and me.
Only because you deserve better, if they really knew you.
We don't need them.
