Verse 1:
One word, egocentricity. I guess the love of self replaces all piety.
I see the band wagon, but turn to the side.

Cuz that ain't honorin' the God whose inside of me.
See I can take my looks, take my gifts, take my talents.
Parade up on a front, actin' fly, lookin' stylish,

when in reality, that act is not valid,
and yet they turn around and wonder why is God silent?
Now I ain't Sherlock,

but homes understand when I say that you runnin' on His watch.
He's got the final say,
the same one who holds the details entailing your eternal state.

And that's why we out to spread His fame,
already one too many cats who gone bathe in flames, and there ain't,
another single soul to blame,

there's nothing left for you when you choose to love what God hates.

Verse 2:

Truthfully, it's not really odd,
for man to wanna be, bigger than God.
The top lie to persist through the ages,

but none can overthrow He who is ageless.
Not even Lucifer, a.k.a. satan.
Believed he could in the end was forsaken.

And I ain't talkin' outside of the Biblical,
it's God and satan strictly set as antithetical.
But ol Luci naw, he ain't gone let it go.

He can't have the throne, knows it'll be our home.
It's our inheritance, but only in Christ,
so won't you help your boy put His name up in lights.

Glory to him, none to me,
for it was my sin that hung him up on that tree.
Grace sufficient, faith for the faithless.
