far from it,
don't know if it will ever be

I'm absolutely devastated cuz I lost a good friend,
a god send,

so now I'm transferring this pain to paper and pen

but now he's gone and,
the comparison I have for
the fragility at my core,

of all this pain I'm dealing with and facin',
is like something out of Star Trek
imagine a large wreck

of an inter planetary space station
sizable to that of our planet,
it's hurtling through sub space

I'm on board stranded,
in zero gravity
electrical sparks,pieces flying off

Weightless in space
No atmosphere in the place
it's still there obliterated

structurally devastated
it's course has been
deviated it's purpose abbreviated

yet not emancipated and I hate it.

I wish I could push a button

to fade it all away
so I could bring G back

drinking and getting high
while watching Event Horizon or something on Sci Fi,
and anything you spoke in time
would invoke the quote of an episode of

some Star Trek line,
but now his souls in
"space the final frontier"
without a moment to fear ,I want to say clear
so that everyone out there will surely hear



Of my friend I can only say this,
Of all the souls I have encountered in my travels,
