AP lyrics : "Chem There you go again (One More Night)"

We will sing about non-metal atoms bonding covalently,
Molecules are made to achieve a higher stability,
They can form a single, double, and even a triple bond

and these bonds are formed by sharing pairs of electrons

In order to achieve a stability they must form an octet

And those with the D-block share more electrons than the others can get
As octets are achieved by resonance they form obscure bonds
And resonance only differs in their sharing of electrons.

Lets draw some lewis dot diagrams,
We must first draw a structure skeleton,

If carbons there its the central one,
And halogens bond to the middle atom.

If you're trying to find bond angles use the VSEPR Model
And remember what repels what and find unshared orbitals,
Electron pairs always repel as far as possible,

And atoms with double bonds will feel a stronger pull,

If electrons are shared unevenly Molecules are polar,

But if they have equal symmetry they will be nonpolar,
These polar molecules become the result of dipoles,
When this occurs molecules tend to bond to reach their goals.

Lets draw some lewis dot diagrams,
We must first draw a structure skeleton,

If carbons there its the central one,
And halogens bond to the middle atom.

Yeah welter give me one more day,
I've got to study
Yeah welter give me one more day, Please,

Yeah welter give me one more day,

Oh AP chem there you go again there you go again making me smarter

Yeah I like using my head using my head never let it go
Got you stuck in my smart brain in my smart brain like a memory.

And now that we have this vast knowledge
We'll do better in the class in college
Our teachers going to be very proud

Of the knowledge we have that's so profound
So thanks Mr. welter for teaching this class
Even though we have so much sass

And next year we'll remember you
So don't stop teaching whatever you do.
