   Kate Marie Nash (born 6 July 1987) is a singer-songwriter. She has been compared to Lily Allen because of their storytelling lyrics, the dry sense of humour that fuels their songs as well as distinctive lower-middle-class London accents. Vocally she has also been compared to Regina Spektor.

Born in Dublin and raised in Harrow, London, Nash first became interested in music during her childhood. She learned how to play the piano at St. John Fisher School.
