WE THE KINGS Somewhere Somehow lyrics

We The Kings highly anticipated fourth LP, Somewhere Somehow is finally out! After funding the album through Indiegogo with a huge amount of success, the five guys dropped four singles Just Keep Breathing, Find You There, Any Other Way, and Art of War. As an avid WTK fan I was stoked to hear the rest of the album, and it didn't disappoint. I didn't think this album could top their previous music, but I believe this work has the potential to become ?classics? like Check Yes Juliet.
The album starts off with Queen of Hearts it has island vibes with electronic influences, something I haven't heard before. Find You There is an upbeat track with impeccable drumming by Danny. I could see this song in a movie soundtrack. I Feel Alive has techno elements meets classic WTK background vocals. If they play this song on tour, I think their fan base would be jumping and dancing along.
After the first four counts in I Like It, I thought this sounds like a more pop version of Fall Out Boy with some intense drums! That Feeling has the cutest opening of all time, you have to listen to it to understand why. The lyrics as well are some of the most ?awe? inducing the five have produced. See You In My Dreams showcases the piano and is one of my favorite songs off the record. The lyrics are some of the sweetest ?I'd rather have you in my dreams than wake up without you?.
In Die Young Live Forever I wasn't a fan after listening to it the first time, but after re-listening to it I changed my mind. I would love to hear this song acoustically. Any Other Way showcases Travis' vocals as well as the bass, I picture crowds head banging and screaming along. Sad Song was different from what we're used to hearing from We The Kings. The softness and vulnerability of Travis' and Elena Coat's voices are really heard. Just Keep Breathing is my other favorite track off the album, it has such a great message; you can get through anything just keep breathing. It's such a feel good song and I couldn't help smile while listening to it.
All and All I was pleased with the new music and was really happy to have Charles Trippy apart of this album. I would definitely recommend checking out Somewhere Somehow and seeing them when they come to your town on tour! (by Jacklyn Krol)
