PROFESSOR GREEN At Your Inconvenience lyrics

At Your Inconvenience is the second studio album by British rapper Professor Green, released on October 28, 2011. At Your Inconvenience peaked at #3 on the UK Albums Chart and was certified gold for shipping over 100,000 copies. Some guests from his debut album appear on the album, including Ed Drewett, Fink and Emile Sandé. New guests include Slaughterhouse and Bad Meets Evil member Royce da 5'9", Kobe, Luciana, Ruth Anne, Sierra Kusterbeck and Haydon.
Any astute underground-turned-mainstream artist knows they'll have to quietly compromise on their debut album: the carefully selected collaborations, endless rounds of corporate gigs and demands to record a hit single. An even savvier one knows that when said LP was a success, the last thing we'll want to hear about on the next one is the woes of fame.

It's a trap Professor Green occasionally falls into on the follow-up to last year's Alive Till I'm Dead; but when he does, it comes off as wholly relatable or wonderfully tongue-in-cheek. He gets most of it out his system on buzz track and opener 'At Your Inconvenience', while lead single 'Read All About It' is strictly a family affair with a chorus courtesy of Emeli Sandé that Eminem would be proud to pilfer.

Elsewhere, he flits between all manner of musical styles; from the strobing garage beats on 'Trouble', emo-rap numbers 'Avalon' and 'Forever Falling' and the masochistic 'Into The Ground'. Fortunately, his inimitable flow provides the glue that saves it from becoming a disjointed and rambling affair.

He shines brightest on 'Astronauts'; a heart-tugging, Just Jack-esque number that shows a side few would think even existed, though he fails to re-create the same magic on the stripped back 'Spinning Out' and 'Never Be A Right Time'. Regardless, At Your Inconvenience is a versatile, heart-on-it's-sleeve confessional that easily does, as he puts it on 'D.P.M.O': "What I did on the last one times two."by Robert Copsey, Digital Spy UK
