Save Rock and Roll is the fifth studio album by American pop punk band Fall Out Boy. It was the band's first studio album since coming out of a four-year hiatus, a follow-up to 2008's Folie à Deux. The album was recorded in secrecy in 2012 after multiple reformation attempts, and upon completion, was announced on February 4, 2013. The album's first single, "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)", was released following the announcement, and has reached charts worldwide including the US Billboard Hot 100 at No. 26 and in the UK at No. 5. The album is scheduled for release in the United Kingdom on April 15 and in the United States on April 16, 2013, through Island Records. The band will embark on a Save Rock and Roll tour to promote the album, with European and US legs announced.
